Advertising

Thanks for your interest in sponsoring Alternativecpu.com.

I am currently seeking content sponsors. Content sponsors will be able to underwrite an area of content on the site and reap benefits from the association. The goal is to create mindshare, name recognition, and customers for sponsors through the repeated use of impressions.

All too often we find on the Internet very little content embedded in a sea of advertising. What we should be seeing is advertising embedded in a sea of content. Alternativecpu.com is the premier independent source of information on Alternative processors available on the Internet. This website gained popularity and continues to keep readers coming back because of the wealth of beneficial and up to date information that it offers.

What current online advertising doesn’t do enough is try to understand the content of a website and deliver an advertising message specific to that audience. Alternative processors are the focus of my website and will continue to be so in the future. If your business focuses on selling products to alternative CPU owners or potential buyers, sponsoring this website would be a tremendous addition to your marketing arsenal. You can reach this audience directly by taking advantage of this website.

Many webmasters seeking advertisers will try to dazzle you with impressively large web statistics and tell you that their website receives tens of thousands of page requests per day. While these figures are impressively large, they do not necessarily warrant advertising dollars and equate to customers.

This website inherently gets less traffic because of its focused subject matter. Lower volume in this case, however, works to your advantage as a result of the concentrated makeup of the core audience. In other words, the majority of my readers are actually alternative processor owners and potential buyers who are actively seeking information. You get the maximum return for your sponsorship dollar because your marketing message is not wasted on someone who would have no interest in what you are offering. Lower volume also reduces my Internet provider costs. As a result, I can pass these savings on to you.

By delivering value to sponsors by providing visitors and customers, we create a beneficial, interactive experience that generates revenue for both of us. Please read the following information and contact me by email at advertising@alternativecpu.com if you are interested in sponsorship or have additional questions.

DEFINITIONS OF APPLICABLE WEB ADVERTISING JARGON

Hits - the number of times a server is accessed. "Hits" are almost meaningless to advertisers, since each page, graphic, or page element could count as a "hit." You should make your advertising decisions based on impressions.

Page requests - the number of discrete calls to a complete html page. Graphics are not included in the count.

Impressions - The number of times a visitor sees an advertisement on the site. Sponsorship prices are based on impressions.

Click-throughs - The number of times a visitor clicks on an advertisement, hyperlinking the visitor to the advertiser's Web site.
