Interesting article. Will we be seeing semi-regular (annual?) updates going forward as the hardware advances? Knight's Corner will be an interesting data point, and the GPU vendors of course are always pushing ahead; even though the generational interval is more than a year in most cases the vendors aren't in lockstep so things can change quite a bit from year to year.
