Glen runs Centaur. Centaur however is owned by Via. The talks were between JHH and Wen-Chi. They didn't go well, and that is being overly kind.
Until one of the two people leave, there won't be progress. Of the two, Via is part of the Formosa Plastics empire, so they don't need cash or anyone to get their backs. You can't say the same for Nvidia.
