I wonder how unbiased you really can be on this issue.
It must be hard for you to see a VLIW derived platform you
resent succeed to the tune of billions of dollars in sales
per year while the VLIW derived platform you spent years
of your life working on went down in conspicuous public
failure. Did you resent Crusoe architects for making your
life so hard? Maybe deep down it isn't really the Itanium
architects and architecture that bug you so much.
I don't the issue here is my denial but rather your sour
grapes. ;-)
