The article kicked off a lot of uncomfortable scrutiny on some people that were making the process more difficult than it should be to serve their own needs. That is being worked out in the background, and airing dirty laundry in public would not make things better for Linux in general at this point.

I have facilitated a few meetings at CES about the subject, and things ARE looking like they are moving again, some even in the right direction. With any luck that will continue when the spotlights go out.
