Apple has nothing to do with the display in either the iPhone 4 or the iPAD. They buy it from another company just like everyone else.

Apple hasn't done jack with LCDs except buy panels and put them into cases. In general, Apples LCDs are overpriced and under performing.

Stop trying to pimp apple as some hardware gods. They have historically been horrible at the actual hardware, just as anyone who has done their firmware. Apple's expertise is in ID and HCI.
