Maybe I'm a little slow, but what does 'CPU based on OpenGL' mean? And perhaps you mean OpenCL, not GL.
Back to the original point, it's very clear that Apple has no plans to use CUDA. They developed OpenCL specifically to have a cross-platform alternative. Which is what I would expect for a more consumer oriented approach.
