An elaborate theory of why AMD64 succeeded

And, let me just clear something up:

You have to be f$*(@#g joking.

I will try to never be rude or nasty to a newbie, some honest mistake, or a misguided person I do not agree with.

Let me remind you of the manner in which you barged into this thread. Aside from being completely wrong (which I will happily tolerate), you said in reply to Linus:

> It is curious that you are fully responsible for the absence of (1) in the Linux kernel.

> By the way, it is my firm opinion that you do not know how to properly design an operating system

> What an exquisitely crappy idea, for a PID to be what it is in Linux! typeof(PID)==just_int => idiocy).

> proves that there are huge mistakes in operating system design

> No wonder here. You (mis)designed the Linux kernel so there is no reason to believe that you could imagine a different world.

> OS kernel developers and language designers failed to recognize

> If you know the reasons which are giving rise to changes that are happening in CPU+OS+languages

So you are just a rude, nasty hypocrite, as well as being clueless in the technical issues. And this is not the first time either. You frequently seem to attack Linus with the same kind of rude and unfounded shit, and I'm sick of it.

Next time it happens, I will ask David to remove your posts and/or ban you instead of polluting the forum further.
