That doesn't matter. It would not be necessary for him to divulge his country of birth or residence, nor his ethnic background, nor anything that does not have any relevance to the intended target audience. In this case, it is hardware and software engineers, students and enthusiasts.
If someone is foolish enough to use it as investment advice, then he/she deserves whatever he/she gets. :-).

It would be more appropriate to say that you have inferred that there are implied recommendations... which should be evidence enough that this is at least twice-removed from an explicit recommendation... :-).
