Power8 cache supports four reads and one write in every cycle, when there is no bank conflicts.

Currently AMD has better graphics but Iris Pro is the fastest integrated graphics thanks to eDRAM. In any case, I don't see how games are going to help AMD on server space.

I think Intel advantage performance is big when counting general x86 IPC, clocks, number of cores, and huge when counting stuff as SIMD wide: 64 FLOP/core (SKL Xeon) vs 16FLOP/core for Zen.

I don't see that coming. Zen will not be cheap as Piledriver. The x86 tax is one of reasons why Rory Read and Keller announced K12 as AMD's flagship product to recover server market, although lately Lisa Su changed the company plans and is now emphasizing Zen over K12. Moreover, she already said that AMD is no longer the cheap company.

In my opinion AMD server plans will be crushed by both sides x86 (Intel) and ARM (Qualcomm, Broadcom, APM, Cavium,...).
