I have to agree there, AMD really doesn't focus enough on software. When they announced HSA I thought they really were going to be more aggressive on the software front, but so far the best they can offer is CodeXL to ease debugging and that's really not enough.
But hey, they wouldn't be planning an HPC APU if they didn't have some sort of strategy behind it, right?
