IMO we don't need to wait 10nm, there will be a Skylake Xeon D first. Looking at the
better power efficency of this new core vs Broadwell my bet is an higher core number
in Q1/2017 @14nm.
Anyway this 100W target is a surprise to me, looks like a desperate attempt to search a new
niche of the server market, this means Xeon D has covered their first target and now they try to cover
other "unknown" segment easily addressable by Intel rising the core number or the clock speed.
There is the serious chance this cpu will never see the light of the day.
