Just wondering why anyone would consider their package manager 'intensive computation'?
Python is actually quite solidly used in scientific computing, especially in statistics, and is rarely any form of performance issue as the intensive kernels are running in libraries, and python is just the glue (as intended).
https://www.scipy.org/
However, none of that seems particularly relevant to this thread.
A package manager, even less so.
