Yep that sounds much more reasonable. Their backup didn't take over properly. And that's a far worse error than somebody frying the main system by mistake. It is the sort of thing that a person should be sacked for. Plus one should always cater for somebody trying to plug something in again or switch something on again after unplugging or switching it off by mistake, it is a common sort of problem that many offices with a cleaner coming in will be aware of.
