Yeah, every time you preview one set of "entity escapes" or however you got your angle brackets to show up gets eaten up. So I try not to preview when I added those. :p
If you don't preview you can get <brackets>

Yes I fixed several compile issues on various compilers early today. Do you still get a problem if you pull from master?
