Being a troll and provoking discussion so that the best approach can be implemented is WHY Linux lead by Linus has taken over from all the other Unix clones.

Come up with something better or a better arguement and Linus will switch to your team and call the old approach brain damaged.

Try to add old crap code to Linux and you will get flamed, other Unixes did not control garbage code additions as well. Being glad to get any code additions at all.

I have won more arguments with Linus than lost, you just need a good argument that cuts through the bullshit.

You are afraid that Linus cutting through such bullshit will hurt ARM, it won’t.
Don’t be a snowflake.
ARM has plenty of momentum and nothing can stop it.
When ARM has a real product that can actually compete with x86, it will sell.

Just imagine the week after Linus buys his first ARM server laptop and posts that x86 is dead.
