Ryzen 2 die photos

Just wanted to share Fritzchens Fritz's infrared shots at https://www.flickr.com/photos/130561288@N04/48258310682 - as always his photos are amazing.

A few observations:
- Compared to Intel die shots, LLC consumes a lot more space than cores. Expected, given that AMD doubled the amount of LLC compared to first gen Ryzen.
- the ratio of IO die space to core/cache space is higher compared to Intel. That still holds even if you count the Intel chip's integrated graphics (cores + cache still take more space than uncore/graphics). See the octa-core coffee lake die at https://en.wikichip.org/wiki/intel/microarchitectures/coffee_lake#Die

Those zen 2 cores are amazingly small. AMD's IO logic is not, but they're also integrating SATA, NVME, and USB 3.2.

I'm also very curious about LLC hit rates. The huge LLC reminds me of Intel competing successfully (against AMD's on-die memory controller) by slapping a huge cache on their Core 2 chips.
