Intel proposes new SAPM memory type to protect against Spectre-like attacks

Intel has released a paper entitled "A New Memory Type Against Speculative Side Channel Attacks".

I first found it at ZDNet.

Which in turn links to paper itself on scribd.


It seems fairly interesting but I'm no expert, so I'm hoping that someone with more expertise might share some of their thoughts.
