Which flavour of AVX-512?

This article suggests BF16 support (but no VNNI), which might be part of it.

If correct, this could suggest Skylake compatibility (since there are so many AVX512 variants, I suspect developers just program to what Intel uArchs support instead of targeting every permutation of AVX512 levels), although Intel doesn't have any CPU with BF16 but not VNNI.
