AMD on Macs

One of the dev talks has the speaker very specifically say something like "Intel Macs have Intel, AMD, and nVidia GPUs; Apple Silicon Macs have Apple GPU".

Later he says "the isLowPower GPU flag is set to FALSE for the Apple GPU because 'the Apple GPU performance is in line with discrete GPU performance'" (even though in fact the Apple GPU is lower power than all the options on x86)...

Now you can view the segments and parse them ultra-legalistically, if you go in for deliberate stupidity.
But to me it confirms the eminently reasonable hypothesis that Apple is all-in on APPLE Silicon, including the GPU. The entire talk is essentially about "how to write code properly for a TBDR GPU", not "how to write code that will work well on both Apple's iGPU and an AMD dGPU"...
