Now based on table I where would you think large performance improvement from.
M2 to M5 would come from? My own first impression was M2 to M3.

The benchmarks of the phones using these seem to suggest that M2 to M3 was minor improvement and M3 to M4 and M4 to M5 was major improvement. And I concentrated on looking for benchmarks that sounded more like CPU than anything else when looked for what could be there.
