It's not as memory heavy as SPEC so it doesn't stress that part enough, but in my book it's a good enough general case benchmark and a good indicator.

And of course there will score variance on PCs if every system uses different DRAM, different overclocks and what not. You need to pick out the representative scores, that page is full of >5.5GHz systems.
