I want to add that besides HDMI also mini DisplayPort lacks connector retention, and I agree that this is bad, so I am annoyed by cheap companies, like Intel or Dell, which insist to save some pennies by using mini DisplayPort instead of full-size DisplayPort, in products that cost hundreds or thousands of $ and which have plenty of space for a full-size connector, while other companies use the right connectors in similar products, e.g. Zotac or ASRock.
