AMD has with the 3000/Zen-2 Threadripper Pro WX branded parts, like the TR 3995WX, that is an actual Workstation Part with Support for 8 Memory Channels and 128 PCIe 4.0 Lanes and that Part that's supporting RDIMMs and all the ECC Types and on a MB platform with the MB OEM vetting and certification for ECC usage in a Professional environment. And I really wish that AMD would have branded that Epyc-W or Epyc-WX and not had any association with any HEDT/Consumer market branding. There is also support for more than the 256GB of total memory capacity on the TR Pro branded parts.
But those TR Pro Parts are currently an OEM exclusive to Lenovo AFAIK so OEM only to a greater degree until that exclusivity period ends.
