"Dell Hexes Journalist's Wardrobe Alternative"
Charlie Demerjian, a journalist with the online gossip site www.theinquirer.net, showed up at an Intel press event last week dressed in a pink bunny suit. Demerjian had been insistent that Dell would never adopt chips from Intel rival AMD.
He bet Rahul Sood, a cofounder of VodooPC, that it wouldn't happen. But it did this summer, and the bunny suit was what Demerjian had to do to pay off the bet.
When Demerjian got up to ask a question in the bunny suit, Intel CEO Paul Otellini said, "It's a good thing that you write better than you gamble, or you'd be living in that outfit."
Demerjian muttered something unintelligible through a hole in the bunny suit. Then an Intel spokesman, David Dickstein, joked, "Now let's get a question from a real journalist."
