You can run the video through some speech-to-text tool.

Here are my hastily notes. Though, I've just skipped through those videos.

* apparently has no "favourite" past project :[
* you hit limits in extending, rewrite => simpler and scalable; 3-5 years; better every 3
from scratch!
* during the design simply expect that large number of transistor to be available
* RISC/CISC still not decided :]
* ISA do not matter very much
* x86 proprietary - used to be "open" :]; allows making changes independently; ARM proprietary - can't make changes; RISC-V open - allows changes... but too many changes is bad
* why did Intel win for so long? Their process developments were great
* Intel out-innovated everybody else - processor designs are good
* Core 2 and Haswell were great - perf vs everybody else
* ARM explores all the design points
* Intel - reliance on custom logic/design and all the in-house stuff; insulated about CAD tools => synth
* ARM experiments with many things and directions, using many teams
* new feature: brainstorming - talk about it - think about it
* "I can see how computers work in my head"
* "Every time I've done something new, by the time it's done. The good parts are good, but I can see all the flaws."
* beautiful things ~ great abstraction layers
* Zen design was designed as modular - interface first approach - test
independently => this design greatly improved quality
* cognitive capacity dictates modularity (as in SW eng)
