To increase the work visible inside the instruction window the instructions could be compressed by generating new instructions for reoccurring uop sequences that do not contain ILP.
I suppose one could think of these as nano-threads as opposed to micro-threads.
This encoding would be the job of the compiler (prepare) and the preprocessor/outerprocessor (deploy as data gets available).
