Intel seems to have quietly launched a Tiger Lake 8 core that clocks up to 5.3 GHz (thermal velocity boost): https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/215570/intel-core-i9-11900kb-processor-24m-cache-up-to-4-90-ghz.html
8 cores, 16 threads, FCBGA1787
Based on the fact that Rocket Lake can't really clock any higher (even Silicon Lottery doesn't sell any 11900K units with core clocks above 5.2 GHz) this seems like a good achievement.
.. other differences vs 11900K:
- Chip is listed as PCI-E 3.0 only?
- The Datasheets link so far only show Rocket Lake 11th gen info
- No AVX512
- No Intel vPro
- Other frequencies (turbo boost max 3.0/max turbno frequency) are a bit lower than Rocket Lake.
- 4K display only (Rocketlake = 5K) for iGPU, but max iGPU speed is higher (1.45 vs 1.30).
- iGPU is DirectX 12 vs 12.1 for RKL
- This CPU has embedded TBolt 4
