As an old timer who last messed with hardware by wiring a new instruction into
an ALWAC III-E (Drum vacuum tube serial machine - duh drum) in the 60's I find this
quite interesting. My career was in software - mostly assembly languages.
This makes me feel like before I had seen a map of the city but this is like driving
down some of the streets. I guess you would have to walk slowly to see how these ideas
are actually implemented.
But it does bring a question to my mind. Do you have any time left over for real life?
My thanks for what you have done.
