I am wondering about bus communication and the magnetic fields. Say you have a 256 bit read bus, all these parallel lines make a magnet when the data is all ones and can induce a current in nearby lines. Is it necessary or good practice to interleave a bus going the other way to cancel out and spread out this magnetic problem?

The with the dual counter rotating bus rings that connect CPU’s on a die, is it the case that the lines going opposite directions are interleaved?
