I think performance matters much less than a 15% threshold would dislodge, because I believe most people decide between Windows and Mac before they even look at performance figures (and remember the majority of PC buyers don't EVER look at benchmarks)
Even a 50% performance difference wouldn't get someone wanting a Mac to switch to Windows, or someone who has always bought Windows to buy a Mac. Now if the gap was 2x that might change, but there's no chance we'll ever see anything remotely close to that.

Even a 50% performance difference wouldn't get someone wanting a Mac to switch to Windows, or someone who has always bought Windows to buy a Mac. Now if the gap was 2x that might change, but there's no chance we'll ever see anything remotely close to that.
