But Z-NAND's promising start (would be just over half Optane in the graph of the previous post) seems to be dead. I see nothing about Z-NAND after 2019, on AnandTech or anywhere else.

Maybe Samsung learned the same thing as Intel claims, that in the space of storage, once you're "fast enough", most people buy based on capacity, not extra speed? (That's why I personally never considered Optane storage "interesting", whereas I thought Optane DIMMs were something genuinely new and with potential.)
