You are saying the customer first pays for an expensive processor with Intel On Demand. Then if at some point in the future the customer decides to pay even more for some on-die accelerators, Intel might or might not say: “Sorry, your accelerators aren’t working. You should have paid up front for a model with the accelerators enabled.”
There is ZERO chance that’s how it works. That would be even crazier than what Intel actually did do.
