Well first off, great article. Thanks again for contributing sans monetary exchange.
-Why does the IA32 EL not save translated code between runs? That seems like such a straight foward way to improve future execution. You could even perhaps ship it already "primed" with run of common apps to improve performance.
-Does anyone have any ideas on how Transmeta could save themselves? How valuable is their CMS software to other parties?
-Does anyone with more knowledge than I (just about all of you) have any comments on how interperted/managed code, like java or C#, and Microsoft's apparent desire to move development towards them will impact the market's choice of ISA?
