So you see Sun on a death-spiral ? I think with their cost-cutting and adding of Opteron they should at least be breaking even soon. Also they are a very important software company so they are not totally reliant on Sparc. :-)

Yes the 1.7 Madison. Btw the 667fsb version will either be 1.667 (5 * 333.3) or 1.833 (5.5 * 333.3) Ghz. The latter will be quite an achievemnt if they can swing it.

Not your predictions just your SpecINT/FP figures for Power 5 if they are out by more than 10% say. After all it shouldn't make any difference to your predictions it would just be a shame though to have innaccurate figures ongoing when the true ones are only days away.
