Those are all bright people but I am not sure how relevent their skill set is to a senior
MPU design position.

BTW, I didn't mean to slight anyone on comp.arch (there are a number of MPU designers
that lurk and post there). The joke was directed against myself because I was contacted. I
design full custom chips for a living and have taught myself a lot about MPUs yet I don't
consider myself qualified for a senior MPU design job. I don't know any of the popular
architectural simulation tools and haven't done synthesis or even logic level (as opposed
to circuit level) simulation in years.
