There was nothing false about it.
BTW, nice job Bill. Trying to use my post as an excuse to behave like a complete asshole really takes the cake. At least take responsibility for your own actions, if you want to set an example.

It was based upon several recent incidents:
1) Rick Hodgin recently stated that he felt that David was the kind of person who would buckle under Intel marketing pressure.
2) Someone else (whom I have forgotten the name of) questioned why David used the term 'platform' for his review, and implied (using examples of other reviews) that Intel had suggested/required that the term be used.
3) Armand suggested/implied that Intel may have pressured David into using specific benchmarks for the review.
IOW, I am seeing a pattern, which I reacted to. That you don't see it does not make anyone else stupid/ignorant/biased/etc. That you consider yourself the unimpeachable source of truth, justice and the American way should be a red flag to even you.
BTW, do you see any problem with making a statement that if you could you would reduce Washington to a heaping slag of radioactive waste as a remedy for someone else committing atrocities that you don't agree with? You and Bush are not much different, excepting from who you don't like, eh?
Do you see a problem with stating that you act like you do because others need to see that their own behavior needs modifying, so you have taken it upon yourself to behave badly in order to modify theirs?
In any case - I will publicly and formally apologize to Armand and anyone else whom I have offended/annoyed with regards to this subject. Whether it was a valid complaint or not is a subjective matter, but it obviously did nothing to improve the SNR on the board, as Armand stated, so I'll take full responsibility for the degradation of the board over the past few days... :-(

Dean
