You really do sound more and more like Paul....say, whatever happened to the triple digit growth figures you used to talk about and laughably extrapolated into the future talking about Itanium being bigger than the x86 server market? Funny how when the percentage growth figures looked impressive you quoted them, now that they are no longer impressive you quote a "steady increase of $1 billion a year". Yup, pretty much like I always said it would be as it replaced the PA-RISC market. Yawn....no surprises there, let's see how it grows as the PA-RISC replacement market dries up.

Whether you are Paul or just another hopeless Itanium booster, think back to the heady days of Merced and McKinley and where you thought Itanium would be in 2009 and where it really is now that 2009 is here? Use that reality check to realize that maybe you are wrong about its future from this point on as well.

Hey, I could be wrong too, but what I and other non koolaid drinkers have been consistently saying in RWT for the whole decade has been much closer to reality than what we've heard from the IPF faithful.
