arm did come up with a few tricks to lower the power
consumption of oooe, e.g. use a checkpointing mechanism to
reduce the power required to keep track of which renamed
registered can be freed.
another example is ACP, which can greatly improve the
performance and usability of arm's GPU co-processor.
amd/intel have talked fusion for years. guess who
come up with a product first.
